6 Yoga Props to Enhance Your Practice
When I initially began practicing yoga, I thought of props as a representation of my inexperience or inability to do the poses properly. I didn’t want other yogis to perceive me in that way, so I changed my appearance. Props were something I avoided like the plague for the first couple of years of my practice. I ultimately realized that I was experiencing hard pauses throughout my practicing sessions. Aside from that, I had damaged myself because I had leaped into postures when what I should have done was walk carefully into the pose.
My recommendation to my students is to USE PROPS when you first begin your yoga practice and to CONTINUE to use them until the very end of your practice.
Don’t be concerned about appearing ridiculous since maintaining a safer practice is more vital than risking damage!
The practice is completely focused on you. It makes no difference what is going on around you; only what is occurring within you matters. The yoga props listed below have assisted me in progressing my practice and can do the same for you as well!

A strap will make your arms appear a hundred times longer, and a bolster is the most comfortable gadget ever devised, and it will elevate your Savasana to a whole new level of ease and relaxation.

The child’s posture is a restorative stance that should be comfortable for the child. Adding a blanket to the back of your knees will make it more comfortable for you. This is especially beneficial for people with sensitive knees, since lying directly on them is not always soothing. Keep your knees as gently as possible. If you get a sudden pain or twinge in your knee, or if you are recuperating from a knee injury, stop what you are doing and modify it. Place a cushion or bolster at the back of your knees to help alleviate pain and discomfort.
Eka Pada Rajakapotasana(One-legged King Pigeon Pose)
This is a restorative position that should be comfortable for the child. Adding a blanket to the back of your knees will make it more comfortable. If you have sensitive knees, this is an excellent option because resting directly on them is not usually comfortable.
Your knees should be treated with care. In the event that you have a sudden ache or twinge in your knee, stop what you’re doing and rest. It is also a good idea to place a cushion or bolster at the back of your knees.
