As a read-aloud, this book is best enjoyed by two people reading it together, with one reader telling the story and the other following along with the given narrative to lead the yoga positions in the middle.

They are especially appropriate for those who give Movement Story Times since the illustrations are imaginative yet accurate.

This is an excellent book for youngsters who have difficulty calming down for their nighttime routine.

Every year during our fingerplay songs and stories, I like reading them to my Kinders in between our fingerplays.

We read it together, and then I project the video of it being read aloud onto a wide screen so that the entire class can participate in the dance steps.
