(Well, unless your hardest vinyasa class is on day 4).

How-to Pack for a Yoga Festival

Next week, I’ll be driving to Lake Tahoe and Squaw Valley for the Wanderlust Festival, which takes place in both locations. For months, I’ve been counting down the days till I go on this vacation. All the yoga, meditation sessions, teacher-only workshops, hikes through the beautiful Squaw Valley, epic music and dancing, possibly some stand-up paddle boarding, and, of course, reconnecting with friends I haven’t seen in a long time and meeting many new, beautiful souls are all things I am looking forward to.

Before you embark on a weekend of relaxation and rejuvenation, there’s no excuse to be anxious.

The Essentials:

Bottle of Drinking Water I feel like this is a given; clearly, it is really vital to be hydrated at all times, but especially when you are moving around all day and, more importantly, while you are outside in the scorching heat. I personally cannot stand the taste of water from a metal or plastic container, thus I prefer to drink from a glass bottle. This is my personal fave.
